New SunSprint Track The old track was vandalized several months ago and NSW commissioned a new track. Today, 25th August 2006, we assembled and tested the new track. Have a look at the pictures and note that this is the track you will be racing on during the SunSprint Challenge. AIMSC Nationals The 2006 Nationals will be held at the University of New South Wales, Sydney on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd December. More details will be posted as they become available. Also, check the AIMSC site solarnational.org for any further developments. The prizes and awards for SunSprint will be posted here as soon as they are finalised. A very big thank you to all SunSwift Team members who have helped with the organisation and running of the SunSprint Challenge for several years now. They have always done an efficient job and I'm very grateful for that. I've learnt so much from them. Last year Daniel Jones of SunSwift trained novices to help him and the young science and engineering students took the challenge and delivered very well. Thank you all. The Faculty of Science wishes to thank the Faculty of Engineering and the Centre for Photovoltaic Engineering for contributing towards the running of event. We also wish to register our thanks to Jaycar Electronics for sponsoring the event.
