SCIENCE IN THE CITY
2006

The University of New South Wales will not participate in Science in the City from this year.

Instead, as part of the National Science Week, we have organised a day of fun science on 4th August. Watch out for Science: Fact and Fiction at UNSW!

Information flyers were sent to your school in mid-November last year and again at the end of May this year.

SCIENCE IN THE CITY IS A PART OF NATIONAL SCIENCE WEEK 2005

High School Program: 2nd to 4th August

Primary School Program: 9th to 11th August

Open Day: This year there won't be a Public Open Day on Sunday as was the practice in previous years. Instead Twilight Science, a series of talks by high profile scientists, will take place on Wednesday 3rd August from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm. As well as the talks, there will be an expo and various scientists will be at hand to answer any questions you might have.

The University of New South Wales is one of the partners of Science in the City at the Australian Museum and this year we have organised exciting expo displays, educational workshops and lectures and a series of thrilling science shows!
