Dean's welcome

Welcome to the Faculty of Science web site!

Professor Mike Archer
UNSW was founded to provide leadership in Science, Engineering and Technology and is one of the most exciting centres in Australia and internationally for teaching and education in many areas of science. I welcome you to be a part of science at UNSW as a researcher, student, alumnus or colleague.

UNSW is renowned for the range and quality of its research. We attract some of the best Australian and international scientists. We have award winning Federation fellows, Eureka prize winners and Rhodes scholars among our scientific research staff and their expertise is reflected in our teaching programs.

The University is justly proud of its scientific achievements and the quality of its graduates over the last 50 years. We look forward to new discoveries and new opportunities for research and development over the coming decades.

We have recently redesigned our web site, so you will find that some of the links and resources have changed. Please use the floowing link to go to the new UNSW Faculty of Science web site: http://www.science.unsw.edu.au. If you cannot find what you are looking for, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Once again, welcome to our website and please contact us if you need any more information.
