The Faculty of Science consists of 9 Schools and 1 Department. These units encompass research and teaching in the many core, innovative and technological disciplines of science.

Note: Food Science and Technology, formerly part of the School of Chemical Sciences, has been transferred to the School of Chemical Engineering and Industrial Chemistry in the Faculty of Engineering (http://www.foodscience.unsw.edu.au).
