Mike was born in Sydney in 1945 and is a dual citizen of Australia and the USA. His career in vertebrate palaeontology began when he was 11 and proceeded with undergraduate training in geology and biology at Princeton University (BA Geol./Biol.1967), consecutive Fulbright Scholarships for palaeontological research in the Western Australian Museum, Perth (1967-69) and a PhD in Zoology at the University of Western Australia (1976). Scott is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences and Associate Dean (Undergraduate Programs) in the Faculty of Science at UNSW. Educated with undergraduate (BSc(Hons), 1988 in Applied Physical Geography) and postgraduate (PhD, 1996 in Palaeoecology, human impact and palaeoclimatology) degrees from UNSW, Scott is responsible for all academic matters relating to student recruitment, admissions and progression.

Bob's professional background is in mass media, mainly as a writer specialising in science, medicine, environment and technology. He graduated in Communications from Mitchell CAE (now Charles Sturt University) in 1979. He is the author of five non-fiction books on science and environmental themes.
Bob is responsible for strategic advice and planning on all matters relating to the faculty's public profile and media relations.

Emma was born in Poole, Dorset, England and migrated to Australia in 1973. She has dual nationality (British/Australian) and an incurable desire to travel to places she has not been to before. This desire is usually increased with each period of annual leave. Emma's most recent professional experience is academic segment manager in legal publishing.
Emma is the manager of the marketing team and is responsible for undergraduate and postgraduate marketing strategies and implementation.

Prem is a member of the marketing team and is responsible for managing several major Faculty Outreach commitments such as SunSprint Model Solar Car Challenge, Undergraduate Faculty Scholarships, Science and Engineering Challenge, Siemens Science Experience, Science Without Borders Exchange Program and Undergraduate Enrolment Advisory Day as well as assisting with selected UNSW events. She works collaboratively with the rest of the marketing team and cross-Faculty Marketing Group to integrate Outreach projects into our overall high school liaison program. Prem also provides administrative and financial advice to marketing and centre staff and other staff/student assistants in the Science Student Centre. As the Manager, Administration (Marketing), Prem recruits and trains casual staff to work in Marketing and the Student Centre as well as present science shows to primary and high schools and the community in general.

Rachelle is a member of the marketing team and is responsible for the recruitment of undergraduate students at domestic level, with an emphasis on secondary school marketing, alumni and stakeholder relations. She is the project manager for faculty's collaboration with the Science Teachers Association of NSW. Rachelle also manages selected UNSW events and coordinates the production of faculty publications and other marketing material.
